Link-Belt Excavator Company, through its parent LBX Company LLC, has raised $232,000 for breast cancer organizations following the sale of its Pink-Belt excavator at CONEXPO 2026 in Las Vegas.
The 15.2-metric-ton Link-Belt 145 X4 excavator, which toured North America as part of the ‘Diggin’ for a Cure’ campaign, was auctioned on March 5, 2026, for $220,000 to Rasmussen Equipment. Additional contributions included a $10,000 donation from Shafe Equipment Company and a $2,000 gift from industry partner Jade Shank, with all proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Yes, Mamm! Program of the Saint Joseph Health Foundations.
The initiative brought together OEM leadership, dealers, contractors and suppliers in a coordinated industry effort that emphasized awareness, early detection and community-based healthcare funding.
Industry leaders and contractors contribute
LBX President and CEO, Eric Sauvage, emphasized that the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to community impact and highlighted the fact that the fundraising success was driven by a unique collaboration between employees, dealers and equipment partners, eliciting support from a number of industry sponsors, including ESCO Corporation, Trimble, TAG Manufacturing and Grizzly Supplies among others. Sponsors generously contributed equipment, technology integration, logistics and financial support throughout the tour.
Events across North America
As part of the campaign, the Pink-Belt excavator made a number of appearances, including stops at Trimble Dimensions in Las Vegas, the ARA Show, Construction on the National Mall in Washington, DC, as well as a host of regional dealer-hosted events. And each stop according to the company helped to reenforce the campaign’s message while also meaningfully engaging directly with contractors, fleet managers and equipment operators.
Shared effort with lasting impact
The Pink-Belt campaign highlights the importance of community engagement and the fact that success within construction today extends well beyond the jobsite. For contractors and fleet operators, it also emphasizes the power of collaboration and the opportunities that arise when equipment, people and purpose intersect.
