Buying cordless tools one at a time gets expensive, especially when every tool needs a battery and charger. Fortunately, right now, Amazon has power tool sets from DeWalt, Bosch, Greenworks, and more on sale, including the DeWalt 20V MAX Drill and Impact Driver Kit for $149 (was $239). You get two power tools, two batteries, a charger, and a bag, for about what a single tool and battery would cost on their own.
Amazon’s combo kit sale also includes larger kits for outfitting a shop and specialty bundles for woodworking and drywall. A kit makes a strong gift for a DIYer starting out, since it puts them on one battery platform from the beginning. The biggest discount we found is on the Greenworks 24V 1/2-Inch Drill Kit for $54.99 (was $139.99), 61 percent off.
