The Ikago warmer features an infrared thermometer that measures a drink’s temperature as soon as a mug is placed on its charging dock. It then displays this reading on its digital display and allows users to set the temperature from 105 to 175 degrees Fahrenheit, the widest range of any mug warmer we tested. Adjustments can be made in 1-degree increments, satisfying even the pickiest of coffee drinkers.
The set includes a 15-ounce dishwasher-safe mug, but the warmer is compatible with most ceramic mugs, so you don’t have to worry about washing and reusing the same coffee cup each day. Some other popular mug warmers require their own brand of cups to be used, so we find it refreshing that the Ikago doesn’t.
Thanks to sensors, the warmer automatically turns on when it detects a mug on its plate. It goes into standby mode when the mug is removed and automatically shuts off after two hours of inactivity. It’s available in three colors, including graphite, beige, and pink.
