Is the Govee Lightwall easy to set up?
When I first opened the bag and saw all the components, I was a little nervous about assembly. I shouldn’t have been. Govee included clear photo-based instructions, and I had the Lightwall assembled in about 15 minutes. Now that I know how it goes together, I could probably set it up in less than 5 minutes.
The metal frame supports three digital LED curtains that connect at the top and bottom. Govee also includes clear connectors that help secure the curtains together at the sides, which creates a uniform wall of light. The whole setup packs into a large carrying bag, which I found very handy when moving it to different locations.
Because this is a large unit, it needs to be stabilized. Govee came up with a smart solution: water bags that attach to the outer legs. I filled mine in the kitchen sink, but for remote use, I could see filling them with sand and carrying them along.

I already had the Govee Home app on my device, and the Govee Lightwall synced effortlessly. I also tested it with my power station, which makes it more portable than it first appears. If you’re camping at a site with an outlet, great. If not, a compatible power station can make the Lightwall usable in more remote spots.
