Huayi Tire Canada, Inc. (HTC), the country’s leading marketer and distributor for Double Coin and associate tire brands, has announced the appointment of Dave Hatch as its new Vice President of Sales and Operations. Hatch succeeds John Hagg, HTC’s long-serving leader, who is retiring after years of dedicated service. In his new role, Hatch will oversee HTC’s national sales strategy, operations and customer experience initiatives, positioning the company for continued growth across Canada.

Proven industry experience

With more than 30 years of experience in the tire and automotive sectors, Hatch brings a strong record of leadership, innovation and operational excellence to his new role. Prior to joining HTC, he held senior executive positions at Dynamic Tire Inc., serving as both President and Vice President of Products. Early in his career, Hatch also owned and operated Autocam for six years, later selling the business to Coast Tire, where he managed multiple locations and played a key role in expansion initiatives across Quebec.

It’s an appointment that Aaron Murphy, Senior Vice President of CMA/Double Coin, praises, believing that it will result in enhanced value and customer service offered by the team.

“Dave’s extensive industry experience and deep market understanding make him an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” he says. “His ability to connect strategic vision with operational execution will be instrumental as we continue to expand our presence in Canada and deliver exceptional value to our customers.”

Commitment to growth and customer success

Based in Varennes, Québec, Hatch will play a central role in strengthening HTC’s national footprint, ensuring that Canadian contractors and fleet operators benefit from a reliable supply of high-performance tires for construction, commercial and agricultural operations.
